The 2010 NMSDC Conference in Miami is wrapping up today, and the estimated 4000 attendants are breaking down some 500 trade booths and returning to their offices. Though the event itself is over, its impact on the supplier diversity community is only beginning.
Conference attendees have been expressing their overwhelmingly positive thoughts about the conference on Twitter. You can view these tweets by searching for the topic #NMSDC on Twitter. You can expect to see photos taken by the MBEConnect team on this blog and on Facebook in the coming days. We will also be posting video interviews with minority and women business owners and supplier diversity representatives from corporate partners in the near future.
If you missed the conference, or you want a refresher, the South African Supplier Diversity Council (SASDC) has been providing detailed and informative blog posts while attending the conference. Feel free to use our comment section to share your experience, or link to your blog with your thoughts.
Be sure to take advantage of all of the opportunities and connections made at the conference and really get the most out of your experience. In addition to the MBEConnect Diversity Blog post on this topic, you can also read this helpful post about What to Do After a Conference at Gigaom.
