Today MBEConnect officially released the first issue of the new digital magazine MBEConnect Profiles. This publication focuses on important contributors to the supplier diversity community by creating detailed profiles of the best W/MBEs in the country.
MBEConnect Profiles is available as a free download through the iTunes store for use on iPad and iPhone devices. Full issues also can be viewed in an online magazine format through Issuu (embedded below) and individual articles can be read at the official magazine web site. The digital format creates a unique and engaging user experience by embedding interactive media, including video, presentations and direct web links, directly into the magazine when downloaded through iTunes or viewed through the web site.
Inside the first issue of MBEConnect Profiles, readers will find detailed profiles of the 14 WBE Stars; businesses hand-selected by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as exemplary business community leaders. These WBE Stars will be formally recognized as a part of the 2011 WBENC Summit & Salute conference, held March 22 – 24 in Washington, D.C. MBEConnect is a Media Sponsor for this event and chose to dedicate the first edition of Profiles to these successful business role models who serve as an inspiration to business owners across the country.
New issues of MBEConnect Profiles will be released quarterly through the aforementioned digital sources. W/MBE owners interested in appearing in upcoming editions can visit the magazine web site for more information.
