Visa recently released its latest quarterly Small Business Review, which provides valuable insights for small business owners and those that serve them. Visa analyzes spend data and administers a quarterly survey to get an accurate snapshot of the economic confidence of U.S. small business owners. The Small Business Spend Insights examines the economic outlook of U.S. small business owners along with actual Visa Business card spend data and includes recommendations and best practices for small businesses.
Their findings indicate that top concerns of small business owners in 2011 were attracting new customers, the cost of health insurance, rising taxes, and retaining customers. Other findings suggest that there is increasing optimism among small business owners, who do not expect revenue and profits to decline.
