SWaMFest VIII

October 10, 2012 6:00 pm to October 11, 2012 4:00 pm

SWaMFest is an innovative networking and educational event held annually by the nine VASCUPP institutions (Virginia Association of State College and University Purchasing Professionals).

This year, our focus is on Business Excellence — the standards and practices that help to make small, woman-owned, and minority-owned businesses (SWaM) profitable and more unique to potential clients.

Agenda

Because we believe that success is where preparation and opportunity meet, we have once again developed a vibrant event program, including:

  • The Vendor afFair, our combination trade fair and reception — the perfect setting for networking, exploration, and opportunity.
  • Workshops and Seminars designed to reinvigorate your business, large or small, including VASCUPP Vendor Bootcamp (perfect for firms new to SWaMFest), Bootcamp Beyond the Basics, Branding for Small Businesses, Building a Better (Small Business), Opportunities for SWaM Construction Firms, Professional Development Workshops, and more.
  • General Sessions featuring engaging leaders in business and government from around the Commonwealth.
  • Please visit http://bit.ly/SF8Agenda for the full agenda.
