AT&T has graduated its second class in its innovative Operation Hand Salute program. This year-long program invites Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBEs) to further their business through classes focused on business improvement and winning contracts.Theses classes directly address the unique challenges SDVOBEs face when competing and provides them with tools to refresh their business, including website redesigns, adjusted business objectives and an updated business plan.
AT&T runs the program with Institute of Entrepreneurial Leadership (IEL) at John F. Kennedy University. The program utilizes three pillars of success – education, mentoring, and opportunity – as its foundation. Following an 11-week Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, SDVOBEs are paired with successful busiess owners for mentorship, culminating in a fast paced matchmaking event with experienced CEOs and AT&T executives.
