MBEConnect Unveils “Diversitybuy”, An Online Market Space For Diverse Suppliers, Buyers And Purchasing Specialists

Press Release

OVERLAND PARK, KS. –The newest on-line development from MBEConnect is focused on creating business for diverse suppliers and there is plenty of motivation to provide a big impact to the supplier diversity community.

MBEConnect has launched a new website www.DiversityBuy.com, an online market space targeting Minority-, Women-, Gay & Lesbian and Veteran-owned suppliers who can sign-up to offer products or services at discounted rates; and where public and commercial entities interested in doing business with diverse suppliers, can go to find those bargains. Corporate buyers and purchasing professionals in particular, will find DiversityBuy to be a viable sourcing alternative for acquiring products and services without the added time and costs associated with RFPs, RFQs or contract negotiation. Transactions are credit card processed, making P-Card usage attractive and simplifies the buying process even further.

The site provides a highly visible marketing option for diverse businesses to promote and grow their brand. It only takes a few minutes for entrepreneurs to establish an account. The service provides automatic status notifications and alerts, plus a help desk is available in case additional support is needed.

Buyers can search and navigate the various deals according to category or location, view the business profiles of suppliers, sign up for alerts and even access their respective purchase history for organizational reporting and tracking purposes.

“Two years ago, we created MBEConnect as a forum to increase communication and visibility for diverse suppliers. With the addition of DiversityBuy, suppliers also have a marketing tool that can help bring more explicit attention to their business and provides a level of commerce with buyers and purchasers they might not otherwise have had,” says Eric Harland, Vice President at MBEConnect.
