Building Innovation
Developed in partnership with media personnel, academic institutions, government associations and corporate consortiums, MBEConnect is intended to help MWBEs and corporate partners become more innovative by building awareness and collaboration. This can only be accomplished by improving the connections between people, information and expertise. The two most prominent tools used to create these connections on MBEConnect are Member Profiles and Business Profiles. Together, these two features are used to access many other features on MBEConnect and create a robust network of member programs.
Member Profiles provide an easy way for companies and industry professionals to initiate conversation and collaboration. Through Member Profiles, MBEConnect users can communicate and collaborate with other WMBEs to create shared best practices, standard protocols, new innovations and much more. Members can join peer groups, create professional profiles and access experts in blogs and online discussion forums.
MBEConnect users also can create a Business Profile to become part of the MBEConnect Business Directory, a centralized location for corporate partners to search for diverse suppliers and vendors. Together, the MBEConnect Business Profiles, job boards and comprehensive company directory serve as a centralized marketplace for business opportunities.
